I am so lucky to be living my dream as a professional chef. I’ve been cooking for nearly two decades, specializing in Southeast Asian cuisine, but my favorite is, of course, Filipino-American fare. I’ve worked at a lot of great places around Boston, but you might remember me as the Executive Chef at Myers + Chang. I’ve also spent time working in recipe writing, menu development, and food styling for Purple Carrot.

In 2024, I had the opportunity to compete on Food Network’s Chopped—and guess what? I won!

Now through my pop-ups and classes, I’m bringing you modern Filipino cuisine, a delicious blend of traditional Filipino flavors and the nostalgic influences of my American upbringing. Each dish is a little piece of my story, heritage, and identity, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

I am dedicated to promoting my Filipino culture and showcasing the rich heritage of my first generation roots. From experiences to food where its not just a meal but a fun, playful, and whimsical experience. I believe that delicious food should be complemented by an unforgettable experience, filled with nostalgia. I’m passionate about recreating classic Filipino/Southeast Asian dishes with a modern touch that’s both fun and delicious. From indulgent desserts to savory comfort food, every bite of my dishes is designed to transport you to a warm experience while providing a modern culinary adventure. My dream is to celebrate the vibrant diversity of my community and share our unique experiences with the world.

As first generation Filipino-American, I grew up surrounded by the rich traditions, flavors, and customs of the Philippines. I’ve learned to appreciate the beauty and nuances of my culture from a young age, and it has always been an integral part of who I am.

I believe that it’s important to preserve and honor our cultural heritage, whether it’s in the form of our delicious Filipino cuisine, our colorful festivals and celebrations, or the warmth and hospitality of our people.

I’m excited to share my passion as well for the Filipino culture with you and I hope to inspire you to explore this amazing heritage for yourself.
